What first drew you into music?

I had always enjoyed playing covers of metal and rock songs on drum kit but never thought about making my own music. About 5 years ago I moved to Colorado and everyone was into Dubstep. Went to my first Dubstep show a few weeks later and immediately fell in love with the heavy energy it gave. Bought FL Studio and have been making music ever since.

Listening to your music we can tell you love incorporating interesting new sounds and techniques within each track! What inspires you to experiment and evolve?

I have made a lot of friends that make very different music and being able to get a glimpse of their process and techniques allows me to get a new point of view for sound design and mixdowns. I try to make new sounds as much as possible and while most I end up never using there are always a couple new patches that make the cut and sound super cool.

It seems like you already found your signature sound. Do you have any tips for upcoming musicians that can’t seem to find their own sound?

Thanks! It’s always a work in progress and I’m sure the “Tempura” sound will change overtime but if anyone is sitting there trying to find their own sound. Don’t stop tweaking. Whenever I think I am done tweaking a sound I always try to add one or two more things whether it be within a VST or in post FX I always try to add a little more to give it that extra oomph.

Your track “Ruckus” is your best track in our opinion! From its artwork to the Incredibly powerful sound we absolutely love it. Could you tell us more about the story behind this track? Also, what is your creative process like?

I got booked for a show at The Black Box in Denver and all my friends were back in town for the summer. Since most of them were coming to the show I wanted to make a track dedicated to them and the night. I recorded myself on vocals for the first time which was a fun experience and made the track a bit more personal.

What are your musical goals for the future?

It’s hard to say right now but I am absolutely going to be pumping out new tracks and try working with more artists. At the end of the day I really want to play as many shows as I can and make people move and have a good time!

What do you have planned for the coming months? Any upcoming projects we can get excited about?

Absolutely! I have a couple tracks coming out that I have been working on for awhile. I have been switching up a lot of the flow for my mixdowns and am super happy with how they are sounding.
