What first drew you into music?
\I kinda just fell in love with it back when I was 13. I used to look at it in way like – “oh if I like music so much why don’t I just start making it”. And that’s what happened. It started off as something I’d do just for fun then turned into a passion.
You are one of the best up and coming musicians we have encountered on the internet! And your track “Are You?” is probably your best track yet! Could you tell us more about the story behind this track?
The track “Are you” came about because of a very specific Gorillaz song called “New World Interlude”. New world interlude was short and intense, it had this interesting sense of progression to it as well. I wanted to capture that idea but do it in my own way. I also wanted it to sound like the worst and aggressive form of a power trip. Throughout the track you could hear vocals saying “Absolute power corrupts absolutely”. I wanted to convey that feeling in sound.
Going over your Soundcloud we can tell you love experimenting with new sounds. Can you tell us more about your studio setup and some of your favorite plugins/instruments?
My studio setup is just my bed lol. That’s where all the magic happens. In terms of favorite instrument I absolutely adore choir synths and I’d say my favorite plugin would be nexus and endless smile.
Your signature sound is already very professional and amazing to listen to! How did you manage to achieve such a professional sound in such a short time? Can you tell us more about your musical background?
Well I wouldn’t say my sound is professional, at least not yet anyway. And it wasn’t in a short time either. For my latest album which recently was released I had to go through 5 different projects to get to that point. 5 different albums all scrapped for the different reasons over the course of a year. You could say I was searching for the closest thing I saw as perfection at the time.
All of your tracks are very melodic. Do you play any real-life instruments?
Ha not at all. I would love to though. I’d like to learn how to play a guitar, violin or flute. I like to go for a melodic approach. Something to bop your head to but be weirded out by at the same time.
What are your goals for the coming months? Any upcoming projects we can get excited about?
Well like I said earlier I just released my latest album titled “Aragata” on all platforms. I do got some things in the works but due to this Coronavirus pandemic everything is a bit uncertain on when they are gonna happened. One thing I will share is I am going to drop some merch in the future.
