What first drew you into music?
My dad was a singer, I grew up watching him perform and write music. Just being around the different elements growing up with instruments around the house and music constantly playing drew me in .
Listening to your music we can tell you love incorporating interesting new sounds and techniques within each track! What inspires you to experiment and evolve?
I just try to be as creative as possible. The goal is to create a new sound, but also something that’s familiar. There’s no structure when I’m creating.
It seems like you already found your signature sound 😊 Do you have any tips for upcoming musicians that can’t seem to find their own sound?
Just be you. That’s the only way to stand out. Don’t get caught up in making what you think people wanna hear.
Your track “Come Over” is your best track in our opinion! From its artwork to the Incredibly powerful sound we absolutely love it. Could you tell us more about the story behind this track? Also, what is your creative process like?
It was a concept I was working on for while. I produced the beat and laid down the verses then sent my version to the label (550 format) they had connections with a artist In the Uk named Lajai they knew she would be perfect on the hook. When she sent it back we knew it could be something special. We worked on the arrangement of the record until it was what felt was the best version
Story is about a couple that’s been wanting connect and chill. They may be in a long distance relationship or just got fling for each other. They been texting and and ready to link up, and it goes down when he comes over.
What are your musical goals for the future?
I don’t want to be just the next wave I want longevity . I want to be That go to producer. When you need a hit you gotta come see me . I want my name mentioned with the Drakes, Kanye’s and Jay z’s . I want a Grammies!
What do you have planned for the coming months? Any upcoming projects we can get excited about?
I just released “Pop Tape” which is a mixtape of me remixing several pop songs it’s available on SoundCloud . I’m super excited about the EP “No Structure” produced by me and also has production from a dope producer named Bizz. “No Structure” should be out late spring.
