Before music production, I was hooked on djing, in every chance that I was given I would play a house party or in my room using my controller.
Music production came to me naturally after I figured out that music and traveling is something I wanna do for a living. I remember my self watching youtube videos of Tiesto and other big DJs performing on large crowds thinking that this is something I wanna do before I die. so yes, giving energy to people and make them happy is the reason I started music production.
You are one of the best up and coming dubstep producers we have encountered on the internet! And your latest track “SHINRA TENSEI” is one of our all time favorites. What’s the story behind this track? Also, what is your creative process like?
Well.. the story behind “Shinra Tensei” is that one day I got a message on my Soundcloud from VIRU$, I didn’t know him back then, but he talked to me very friendly and he asked if I wanna collab with him on a track he had on the works. I checked out the track he had attached on the message and I really liked the drop. I told him that he can keep the intro for some other track and that only I need his drop part and the rest of it I’m gonna produce it.
As for my creative process, I’m not exactly the type of guy who always has something in his mind and then he sits down to produce it, I prefer to take inspiration using my feelings not my thoughts. I can start by making a sick bass or a dark melody and then start building the track.
Your track “Decepticons” is another great example of how capable you are as a producer! The mixing is on point and the melodies/ideas are out of this world! Could you tell us more about your studio setup and some of your favorite plugins?
First of all, thank you for mentioning “Decepticons” is one my favorite tracks right now, as for my studio setup I try to be minimal by using only laptop and speakers. I used to work only with headphones but a good pair of speakers is essential if you wanna truly understand what you produce. my favorite plugins right now are serum, massive and Kontakt. I use Serum to make my basses and “weird” sounds and I use massive because I have a huge library of almost every type of sound. finally, I use Kontakt because I have a few libraries of real instruments and choirs.
Your signature sound reminds us of the sound of some of the greatest dubstep producers in the world. How did you manage to achieve such a professional sound in such a short time? Can you tell us more about your musical background?
I started experimenting with my sounds trying to make something you don’t listen to every track. also, I’m trying to be very careful with the sounds I use in every track and how I’m using them, its really important if you wanna achieve a loud and clean mix.
From a young age, I was always listening to a lot of different tracks from different genres and that because I always give a chance to something different if its good.
A good melody and a good vibe can always win me no matter the genre. As for my music theory knowledge before I start producing I didn’t know anything but I was lucky enough to meet two guys that showed me everything I needed in music theory and in production.
What are your musical goals for the future? Do you play any instruments?
My only goal for the future is to become a better producer for me and all the people who pay attention and believe in me. I truly wanna help people and I already doing it by making tutorials on youtube sharing my knowledge and also I make sample packs full of basses, effects and vocals that anyone can use for free on their tracks.
I don’t play any instrument even though I would love it! right now I don’t have time to spare for such a thing, I hope in the future I will be able learn to play the guitar and piano.
What are your goals for the second half of 2019? Any upcoming projects we can get excited about?
For the second half of 2019, my main goal is to reach more people and hopefully I will make my craft even better. as for any upcoming projects, I’m very excited for my next singles because I will have the chance to show to people more about my sound and of course I’ve got some crazy sample packs I will release in the near future for free download!
