What first drew you into music?

I’ve always been interested in music ever since I remembered but I got into electronic music after seeing a Tomorrowland 2012 afterparty recap. The people in the video gave off a good vibe and I got instantly hooked on the music.

You are one of the best up and coming musicians we have encountered on the internet! And your track “Back to Me” is probably your best track yet! Could you tell us more about the story behind this track?

Back to Me was about the longing of old memories of a character in my story. The song incorporates elements of clinging on, along with moving forward from past experiences. This creates juxtaposition and balance throughout the whole song while still maintaining good vibes overall.

Going over your Soundcloud we can tell you love experimenting with new sounds. Can you tell us more about your studio setup and some of your favorite plugins/instruments?

My studio setup is very simple actually. I started out as a bedroom producer so I use my desktop and my laptop and hook them on my Audiotechnica headphones. I still use this setup today! I would switch on to monitor speakers when my ears are tired or when I’m doing collaborations. Serum by Xfer would be my go-to plugin. I try to focus out on getting good and clean samples before applying any effects to them.

Your signature sound is already very professional and amazing to listen to! How did you manage to achieve such a professional sound in such a short time? Can you tell us more about your musical background?

I try to incorporate unique elements and creative techniques in my songs while still trying to maintain industry standards during mixing and mastering. This way, I can add my own signature flavor while still making songs that are relatable to the general audience.

All of your tracks are very melodic. Do you play any real-life instruments?

Of course. I started off my musical journey learning the piano at the end of middle school. I was in a concert band during my high school years and played the clarinet and the bass clarinet. At the end of my high school years, I wanted to create my own songs and play them out on stages. So that’s when I started to self-learn about music production and DJing.

What are your goals for the coming months? Any upcoming projects we can get excited about?

I will be releasing singles on a regular basis. Most of them will definitely be collaborations. I aim to have an EP by the end of next year. I don’t really announce any projects until they’re ready to be released!
