What first drew you into music?
When I was 11, my dad showed me a video of Daft Punk playing technologic live and I knew that was exactly what I was going to do for the rest of my life. The music made me feel really good and I wanted to do something that makes people feel good too.
You are one of the best up and coming musicians we have encountered on the internet! And your track “Punish Me Daddy” is probably your best track yet! Could you tell us more about the story behind this track?
I really appreciate that! I have recently started dating a freaky girl and she said that to me. It was really heartwarming. It gave me a lot of confidence! When I sat down to make music, I was so happy that the song came out very naturally.
Going over your Soundcloud we can tell you love experimenting with new sounds. Can you tell us more about your studio setup and some of your favorite plugins/instruments?
Yes, I love to experiment! I love creating unique pieces that draw the listener’s attention. For my studio setup, my producer friends shit on me because I produce on FL studio, on a Mac, running windows, and have 2 small speakers and a pair of headphones. Thats it. I pretty much only use drums samples and sylenth. I try to create every sound in the song, I usually do apart from the drum samples.
Your signature sound is already very professional and amazing to listen to! How did you manage to achieve such a professional sound in such a short time? Can you tell us more about your musical background?
Thanks! I happened to meet people much smarter than me that liked my music so they taught me about mixing and showed me how to get a really clean product. I’ve been producing for 8yrs but my tracks were shit up until 2yrs ago. prior to producing, I took piano lessons around age 10 but got kicked out for hitting other students 2 months in or so. I got into FL studio around age 12 and have made music pretty much everyday since then.
All of your tracks are very melodic. Do you play any real-life instruments?
Thanks! like I said the only instrument I played was the piano till I got kicked out then it was all about music on the computer.
What are your goals for the coming months? Any upcoming projects we can get excited about?
My biggest goal is to start touring. Im dropping a video for my song ‘Freezer’ (its already out!) later this month. I’ve mostly been working on my EP called FUKSHIT, that should be coming out in november/december. It’s my most precious work so far, im really honing in on thot house/festival thot music. it’s almost done so im starting to look for labels.
