What first drew you into music?

That would be my mum.She use to be in a choir back in the day and to me she had a AMAZING VOICE.I remember every time my mum started singing I would also sing with her and it made me happy.She was also the reason I enrolled in a choir at my primary school.     

You are one of the best up and coming musicians we have encountered on the internet! And your track “Herero Boy” is probably your best track yet! Could you tell us more about the story behind this track?

Well “Herero Boy” is also the name of the album so I just wanted the first track to be about me,How I’m feeling,What I’m going through and my protector from evil. That’s how I came up the whole concept of the song and decided to name it Herero Boy.I also rap about people who owe me,to pay me back but I’m not mentioning any names cos they know who they are. 

Going over your Soundcloud we can tell you love experimenting with new sounds. Can you tell us more about your studio setup and some of your favorite plugins/instruments?

This is the part that most people don’t believe! in my studio i only have a MIC AND COMPUTER,THAT’S ALL. I record on FL STUDIO 12,No major recording software or anything like that and I master my own songs,Learned that on YouTube.My favorite plugin is Fruity Parametric EQ,I also love Auto-tune,makes your voice cooler no matter what.

Your signature sound is already very professional and amazing to listen to! How did you manage to achieve such a professional sound in such a short time? Can you tell us more about your musical background?

I was in a choir at my primary school for only 2 or 3 months and from there I only started giving interest in music again in 2015.At first it was hard for me to get the sound I have now cos i was recording on a phone and the quality was below average.Soon I started doing more ft with other artists near me and learned more about flows and how to sound like the beat.It only took me about a year and a half to master my sound.I don’t have much of a musical background but somehow it found me and now we ride together for ever.   

All of your tracks are very melodic. Do you play any real-life instruments? 

Nah not really…Never had any instrument to play or practice on. 

What are your goals for the coming months? Any upcoming projects we can get excited about?

Right now I’m working on a Ep.”Afro-Fusion” the title of the Ep and will be dropping in November.Its a Wizkid x Burna Boy type,So you can expect great things.My goal for now is to find a way to perform my songs and spread love through music.
