What first drew you into music?

I’ve loved music all my life. As a kid i would always be listening to Wayne. That played a huge part on my younger days. Lil Wayne is why i started loving rap music 

You are one of the best up and coming musicians we have encountered on the internet! And your track “X2” is probably your best track yet! Could you tell us more about the story behind this track?

X2 , the story behind that song is more of what  i dream of. I dream of all the problematic things going on in the industry that nobody can see. A lot of people will get stirred up in the drama . But me . it’ll forever be music first everything second . X2 (Times 2) speeds up to the future that seems hectic , but i can’t wait for.

Going over your Soundcloud we can tell you love experimenting with new sounds. Can you tell us more about your studio setup and some of your favorite plugins/instruments?

Ion have my own studio which is why it’s hard for me to record everything i have and wanna record . I go to my friends crib . He has FL Studio, a lotta plug-ins that i honestly can’t even name and he puts in a lotta work for my music . So every time i record he’s usually right there mixing it & has witnessed my growth since day 1.  

Your signature sound is already very professional and amazing to listen to! How did you manage to achieve such a professional sound in such a short time? Can you tell us more about your musical background?

I started out with a lot of auto tune . Slowly died down after i wasn’t feeling it. It just didn’t feel like me , didn’t feel good enough. I’d start working on little things at home. I’d just freestyle, write stuff down , watch other rappers music videos . Trying to get a taste of all the genres and what fits me best. I fell in love wit the hard 808s and it was the end. i started using more of my actual voice & the people i was with loved it. I was in the studio all summer after senior year. I’d miss days & days of sleep. But in the end it was all worth it.  i was able to create a sound that is unique enough for people to wanna listen . All it took was my commitment & dedication to it really. With more and more practice . The better and better i got. If musics your #1 priority then it will sound like it . People can tell when there’s hard work , and hardly any work . 

All of your tracks are very melodic. Do you play any real-life instruments?

Nah i don’t play any instrument. Just not my thing

What are your goals for the coming months? Any upcoming projects we can get excited about?

For the upcoming months my goal is to keep gaining support. Keep gaining followers , keep gaining people who love & support my music . Ultimate goal is to create a stable living off my music . But for these upcoming months , my goals to still build that audience outside of my hometown. 

A project coming up that I’ve been teasing since near August, is my Album “DELIVERY BOY”
