What first drew you into music?

I first drew into music when i was about 4-5 years old when I could really start to remember certain songs. My mom had this CD case in her car I would usually pick a soundtrack when we’d go somewhere, ranging from tupac, bone thugz, Nas, to 80’s freestyle I just really liked how music’s based on emotion and melody. Growing older pre teens, early teens throughout just listened to more music like punk rock, Rock, and that’s when I really understood music and really appreciated it, Because whether you’re a solo artist or part of a band everyone has something to say, you know when an artist says this in a certain song and says something relatable and the song is just amazing, that’s basically everything that could get you through your day, good or bad and that feeling is everything for me .

You are one of the best up and coming musicians we have encountered on the internet! And your track “The Eulogy” is probably your best track yet! Could you tell us more about the story behind this track?

Thanks for that. The Eulogy at the time before I wrote it, I just wanted to experiment more on what I could do skill wise on editing and mastering. Still keeping my same flow I wanted something that hit hard on bass just something raw. I heard this one instrumental from one of ICYTWAT’s albums and remixed it. Shoutout to him because he’s one artist in terms of producing, keeps me going because of the body of work he has and really not caring what anyone says. I recorded this song with a $40 mic at the time which is surprising because that mic was shit and the track came out pretty good. I’ve spent more time editing that track then I have any other one, and that just shows if you take your time you can learn new things and that’s what happen when I was just experimenting.

Going over your Soundcloud we can tell you love experimenting with new sounds. Can you tell us more about your studio setup and some of your favorite plugins/instruments?

So my Room studio just consist of a Macbook, Mic, interface and MPK. Easy to take anywhere too just incase I need to record or practice on a beat and that’s really I need. I recently got a new Mic leveling up from my $40 one. Which is a big difference in sound. I’ve only done draft recordings with it just waiting on a couple things to arrive to actually lay down the tracks. Then down the road my music career I’ll just upgrade on each one. As far as plugins and intstruments I have a lot of my experience on Garageband where I learned how to mix and master, to actually record, make an instrumental with the MPK.

Your signature sound is already very professional and amazing to listen to! How did you manage to achieve such a professional sound in such a short time? Can you tell us more about your musical background?

Mostly inspiration. Like over the years even before I started doing music I really payed attention to how Kanye West moved. Watching documentaries, interviews, listening to his albums, I understood the way he moved in terms of music, producing and how he approached it and the amount of creativity he had. That was legendary to see what he’s done and that’s how I want to approach my music with my own style, my own beats, and creativity. That was just the drive needed to actually learn how to mix and master and just do my own music in a Span of 2 full years. I started doing music my last year of High School towards the end of 2017. Originally I didn’t want to rap or sing or do anything like that. Until my grade school homie really encouraged to hop on a track with him because he had his own studio. We were just bullsh*tting and released a couple tracks. Then and there I really enjoyed writing music.

All of your tracks are very melodic. Do you play any real-life instruments?

Just A MPK that my homie gave to me.

What are your goals for the coming months? Any upcoming projects we can get excited about?

Yeah in the coming months I’m just going to write more music, continue to keep working with local artists from my hometown, collab with different Genre artists, keep working on producing and save singles in the vault .  I have a Lofi Ep’ planned toward the end of the year between Thanksgiving and Christmas time and lastly I have plans to work on my own produced EP’
