What first drew you into music?

Kind of hard to say, see growing up I’ve always listened to music and loved it.  I’ve also always written things too, let it be writing a simple poem, lyrics to a song, or “trying“ to write a “movie script”, I’ve always been a writer. I guess I can say I was always Interested in the way not just music but art period gave people a voice, some sort of sense of expression.

What inspires you to experiment and evolve?

The Love of/for music. Especially my OWN MUSIC.

Do you have any tips for upcoming musicians that can’t seem to find their own sound?

I mean not much besides make new music and listen to it as much as possible. Oh and listen to your own music more than you listen to other people’s. Me personally like to do the above plus stay away from “Type Beats”.

Could you tell us more about the story behind this track “Hit or Naw”? Also, what is your creative process like?

Well I mean the song isn’t really any deeper than what you hear, besides the fact some of the lyrics are reflective of things I disagree with and would never do, it’s simply me putting my life on paper every time I write. A4.(2)For my creative process, it’s very simple. I’m a lyricist, I hear an instrumental, feel it  and instantly write lyrics. Writing lyrics usually takes from about 30 mins to a few hours. If I don’t like it, it may take up to a year as it has once before. Recording normally doesn’t take longer than 30 minutes to an hour for a song. I try not to spend too much time creating, tend to lose interest quick. I like to first like to memorize my lyrics, if possible then get in listen to the instrumental and get that feel. When I actually record I like to record each part of the song structure separate, I’ll do the hook then record it again multiple times then the 1st verse and the rest of the song the same way. Then it gets mixed and what not, I usually like to have a hand in that or at least be in the lab and oversee it when possible. Then technical stuff and you guys hear it.

What are your musical goals for the future?

Let it be financial, musical or anything else, My goals for everything are the same. My only goal is to improve and be better.

What do you have planned for the coming months?Any upcoming projects we can be excited about?
