What first drew you into music and
rap/hip-hop in particular?
When I was in middle school, rap started
becoming more and more relevant and it was all my friends would play. Hip Hop
would be the only genre at school dances also. When high school came around, I
started freestyling. It came extremely natural to me and now I can make an
entire song just off of a freestyle. Once I mastered the art that’s when I
decided to start posting music to share with the public in hopes to become an
experienced rapper one day.
Your track “I Miss You” is very modern and the lyrics are amazing! How did you achieve such a great signature sound in such a short time? Also, what is your creative process like?
Thank you, I very much appreciate it. When I created this song, it was out of resentment and anger towards my grandfather in all honesty. Being in the moment of true emotion, there was no need to write anything down. I plugged in my microphone and started recording immediately after I memorized the lyrics. A song a person can relate to, is a song worth listening to. As for my creative process, I just go with how I’m feeling and channel it into words. I let my mind be absorbed by my emotions entirely. This is my key to creating a meaningful song.
You have worked with many great
producers/artists in the past, If you could work with anyone who would that be?
A song with King Los would be a dream
accomplished. Also, Donalf Glover is one of my inspirations and to be able to
do any type work with him is definitely on my to do list.
You have recently released a track titled “False Idols”. The track is a modern Hip-hop/Trap fusion and we wonder if you plan to release more trap sounding tracks in the future?
This was my first released song. With 19k views, I definitely plan on making more like it. It gave me the confidence to keep releasing music with my type of style and flow.
What are your musical goals for the
future?
I started rapping as a hobby, but if there
is the slightest chance this can become a successful career, I am more than
willing to pursue it. Music is without a doubt my passion and I hope I can get
everyone’s support along the way.
What are your goals for the new year,
any upcoming projects we can get excited about?
I plan on making a mixtape for people to enjoy for the summer. Also I’ve been producing an album I plan on releasing sometime this year. I do not have a studio or anything because I am currently in the Middle East. Regardless I have what I need and I can promise it will be worth the wait. Every song will be captivating.
