What first drew you into music?

I first got into music because of my friend. His dad worked on computers and was into music which got my friend into music. This lead to us making music on his dads laptop using Logic Pro. A lot of the things I know how to do came from watching my friend make music and making music with him.

Your track “After” is absolutely amazing! How did you achieve such a great signature sound in such a short time? Also, what is your creative process like?

My sound is not defined to one genre. For my track “After” I wanted something more spacey and chill, but still hard with the melodies and 808.     My creative process doesn’t follow a specific outline normally. However, I usually start with making a sound using Sytrus from FL Studio, and then playing around on the keyboard until I find something I like.

Going over your Soundcloud we can tell you love experimenting with new sounds. Can you tell us more about your studio setup and some of your favorite plugins/instruments?

I have a pair of Event studio speakers which are pretty flat, so good for producing. I use the Focusrite audio interface along with the Scarlett mic from Focusrite. As for my computer I have a 2014 macbook pro and on that I use FL Studio. Some of my favorite plugins are OTT, RC-20 Retro Color, and Fruity Reverb 2. My favorite VST is Sytrus. I do all of my sound design on Sytrus. I also use a Nektar 49 key midi keyboard.

Your music sounds very organic and authentic. Do you play any real-life instruments?

I play the piano, guitar, and bass guitar. I’ve been taking piano lessons for several years, I taught myself how to play the guitar and bass guitar.

What are your musical goals for the future?

My goals are to continue to make music that people like and enjoy. I would also like to gain a following as a producer and singer/rapper. I also prioritize making high quality music and putting music out consistently.

What are your goals for the coming months? Any upcoming projects we can get excited about?

I am slowly working on a chill mixtape full of chill beats that will drop probably within the next few months. Not sure if I’ll do any vocals for that, but I might. As for more recent I am working on a single that is similar to After, but also incorporates some different elements. That will drop within a week or so.
