What first drew you into music?

I’ve always been really into music but what drew me into creating my own music more than anything was artists like XXXTentacion, Suicideboys, Lil Peep and OmenXIII. Their songs as well as the artists themselves really showed me a new style/type of music, and I wanted to be a part of it. I always used to write little songs and verses when I was a kid and throughout school, so after hearing all these new songs I had come across I really got interested in making my own music and finding my own sound and style.

You are one of the best up and coming musicians we have encountered on the internet! And your track “Battery Pack” is probably your best track yet! Could you tell us more about the story behind this track?

There isn’t too much of a story behind it. But the title and phrase “battery pack” is just what I say about something that is low in quality, like two A’s out of four, and since batteries come in double A I decided to refer to these inferior products as “battery packs”. I wanted to make a song that stood out so I thought that basing the song off of that little joke phrase and using the unique but very melodic beat, which was made and sent to me by Polaroid Papi, would be a great way to do it. I wanted this song to be something that would stand out on its own, a song that has its own little niche in any playlist its in.

Going over your Soundcloud we can tell you love experimenting with new sounds. Can you tell us more about your studio setup and some of your favorite plugins/instruments?

Honestly I don’t know enough about the studio equipment or production to give a specific answer about those things, but my producers/engineers are amazing and I am very fortunate and grateful to be able to work with them. I can ask them for something with a certain vibe, tempo, sound, sample, etc, and they always know exactly what I mean and what I’m looking for, its like we have the exact same idea in our heads of how we want the song to sound. Big thanks to Polaroid Papi, The Mountain Man, and P.A. On The Track for their amazing work.

Your signature sound is already very professional and amazing to listen to! How did you manage to achieve such a professional sound in such a short time? Can you tell us more about your musical background?

Thank you very much, I’ve always sort of had the sound I wanted in my head, it was just a matter of experimenting with different sounds to find what I was looking for. My producers helped me a lot with this too, teaching me different techniques and helping me improve my own sound. I always wanted my music to have a darker sound than the more mainstream music out there, I love the more edgey sub genres of hip hop and wanted to be apart of them. I don’t have a very exciting musical background unfortunetly, mainly I was exposed to lots of different types of music growing up. Liking a lot of different genres gave me a big opportunity to learn more about music.

All of your tracks are very melodic. Do you play any real-life instruments?

I’m always going for melodic, so thank you again. I used to play the drums for a few years but I haven’t in a while, I probably should sometime since there’s drums in the studio. I mainly work on my vocals so I can be more versatile in my music.

What are your goals for the coming months? Any upcoming projects we can get excited about?

My goals for the coming months are to make as much music as possible and to learn more so I can improve as a musician. I’m always looking to improve so I can give my best in every song and performance. I’m currently working on two separate projects, as well as some singles and features, got lots ready to drop as well but I don’t want to get too specific. However I did just release a single called “ヘルプ”, and it’s available
