A Beat Maker, Meet XTRA

What first drew you into music?

Ever since I went into audio production class which to be honest, was the best decision I’ve made. And as result I have a great hobby.

Your track “In The Dark” is absolutely amazing! How did you achieve such a great signature sound in such a short time? Also, what is your creative process like?

“In The Dark” was a great piece and I loved it because of the organic feel it gave me. I truly just place a few notes to form a melody which is usually the hardest part for me. Sometimes I get lucky sometimes, it takes more time, but in the end, it’s always worth it.

Going over your Soundcloud we can tell you love experimenting with new sounds. Can you tell us more about your studio setup and some of your favorite plugins/instruments?

I used to use FL Studio 20 but then when FL Mobile became an app I got myself a iPad Pro, bought all the plugins and it’s worth every penny, because I like being creative with all possible sounds.

Your music sounds very organic and authentic. Do you play any real-life instruments?

No to be honest, wasn’t really much of an instrument guy. It’s pretty ironic.

What are your musical goals for the future?

I want the world to know, that, I’m ready for them. And I will always be making music in all different types so that, there’ll be a beat type for everyone.

What are your goals for the coming months? Any upcoming projects we can get excited about?

Well I dropped 1-2 beats per week so I plan on being busy as usual. Christmas time around there, I’d say look forward to that. My first album could be dropping around there.
