There wasn’t any special band or person that got me into music, from the very start of my life my parents always had me around all different types of music. As I got older I began to develop my own interests and ideas and knew it was my passion.
You are one of the best up and coming musicians we have encountered on the internet! And your track “No Image” is probably your best track yet! Could you tell us more about the story behind this track?
“No Image” is a story about a relationship I had in the past and how I feel when I dwell on it. I also talk about my battle with depression and wanted to give pure emotion on the track so the listener can get my point of view.
Going over your Soundcloud we can tell you love experimenting with new sounds. Can you tell us more about your studio setup and some of your favorite plugins/instruments?
I don’t have one studio set up. I move around a lot and go to multiple studios, but I always know what I want my art to sound like in my head. And I think it’s very important to be as versatile as possible.
Your signature sound is already very professional and amazing to listen to! How did you manage to achieve such a professional sound in such a short time? Can you tell us more about your musical background?
It seems short, but I’ve been working with my sound for around 2-3 years now. And I still don’t think I’ve found my perfect sound just yet, there’s always room for improvement. But I’ve always had a musical background. Around age 3 I was playing the drums just because I knew I loved music. Also my father was in a band so around age 6 or 7 I stopped playing drums and picked up the guitar because that’s what he did. Around 4th-5th grade I began writing my own songs on guitar and continued all throughout middle school. But as I got older I was drawn more into rap and when I started high school me and some friends started rapping and just kept going with it to where I’m at now.
All of your tracks are very melodic. Do you play any real-life instruments?
From time to time I pick up the guitar and play, but I mostly love singing.
What are your goals for the coming months? Any upcoming projects we can get excited about?
In the upcoming months I got a lot, in a few weeks I’ll be releasing a music video to the song “I Can’t Wait To Go To Sleep” off my mixtape “We Accept The Love We Think We Deserve”. A couple YouTube exclusives on the way. And I have an EP you might see at the end of September or beginning of October. And a collaborator tape is also on the way in the next few months.
