Survivor – Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman

One of Sweden’s most promising progressive house duos, Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman, kicked off 2015 in style with their long-awaited original masterpiece ID 1, recently renamed as Survivor. The track premiered during their much-loved 30-minute guest mix on Steve Angello’s BBC Radio 1 Residency this past January. Survivor, replete with its soul-wrenching harmonic melodies, is built upon an uplifting break combined with progressive piano chords, further layered over an intense buildup. The beat drops energetically, and the song progresses with a near-euphoric vibe. All in all, a dope listen.
