Switzerland-born Maurizio Colella, who goes by the stage name EDX, has been a part of the EDM industry for over 20 years, so it’s safe to say he knows how to produce a deep house classic. His remix of Nora en Pure & Sons Of Maria’s Uruguay presents a completely new take on the jungle house vibe of the original track. EDX has stripped the song of most of its original effects, and cracked up the bass to ensure that, while the song doesn’t deviate substantially from its roots, we get something that’s more spacey, deep, and altogether dope. The crescendo and layering of string instruments has kept us dancing since we starting playing it, and we have no doubt it’ll keep you moving all night long.
