Everything – AN21 & Sebjak

Ever since Swedish don and house veteran Steve Angello launched his cutting-edge label Size Records in 2003 via Simplicity EP, the label has been the home for diverse, high-calibre music within the ever-evolving dance music scene. For the label’s 150th release, two of Sweden’s finest DJs AN21 (Steve’s younger brother) and Sebjak joined forces for their long-awaited anthem Everything. AN21 (pronounced Antoine) had an impressive 2014 filled with astonishing productions including Rebel with Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman, Tonight with Max Vangeli, GODS with Steve Angello and Sebjak, and, finally, a Wasted Love remix with Sebjak. Sebjak, who’s also no stranger to the Size Family, is renowned as a diverse producer who skillfully uses a wide spectrum of sounds in his tracks. This truly allows Sebjak to deeply connect with his listeners, and take them on a virtually unparalleled musical journey. He hasn’t disappointed us yet, and we highly doubt he’d ever even be able to. He’s been releasing hit after hit, namely Liceu with Marcus Schossow, GODS with Steve and AN21, and again, the Wasted Love remix with AN21.

Everything starts off with a build that ever-so-expertly exudes a melody of anthemic and progressive synths. Continuing with a catchy rhythm and an enthralling build-up, the beat transfuses into a euphoric drop that is a sure-fire way to electrify any festival or club crowd this year. The track is so unique in so many ways that it could even be used in an action movie due to its cinematic/futuristic vibe. Last, but definitely not least, the groove and bassline that keeps us speechless: the two Swedes merged their signature styles in a way so magnificent that we have no doubt it’ll be one of Size’s leading releases this year. This track really has Everything, and you absolutely do not want to miss these guys in 2015. They’ll be dominating the industry, in style.

*Note* : This review was so fantastic we can’t help but give a shout-out to our track aficionado Samet Özcelik. Stellar selection, and a review to do it justice.
