Chimera – Altego & Chris Avantgarde

AVANT/GARDE, one of HBT’s selections as a label to watch in 2015, is, for lack of a better word, epic. The label’s latest release is a collaboration between the head of the label Chris Avantgarde and DJ/producer Altego titled: Chimera. The track begins with dark and cinematic elements, but that vibe dissipates once the high energy synths kick in and pave the way for the uplifting drop. The powerful energy present throughout is enough to mesmerize any crowd, in any venue, in any city. Chimera is the true embodiment of a monumental progressive house tune with heavy electronic and cinematic arrangements that create an enthralling story for the listener. Chris Avantgarde, the visionary behind the label, is the reason why AVANT/GARDE has already earned respect from those in the industry for its continued support of young talent, and its ability to curate timeless and top-notch releases. We’re ridiculously excited to see what’s next for Chris Avantgarde, Altego, and for AVANT/GARDE as a whole, and you should be, too.
