Tchami, the French future house hero, comes into his own in his first single off his upcoming EP. After Life represents everything fans have come to know and love about Tchami’s production. The song opens with resonating synths that sound almost organ-like. With vocals provided by Stacy Barthe, the intro builds, giving up low volume tastes of the typical Tchami sound, which remains hard to describe. The buildup of the introduction culminates with the addition of a deep and almost distorted bass that characterizes most of the sound and really gives the track a dancefloor feel. While some critics might describe this song as a rehash of Tchami’s past works, the intro and vocals absolutely make After Life into something very different than songs like Go Deep and Promesses. Everyone should be excited for Tchami’s new EP, and After Life provides an insightful and high energy peek into what is sure to be a very popular collection songs.
